With an average of 300 sunny days per year, Collioure has a Mediterranean climate. During the summer, the average temperatures are around 26°C/79°F and during the winter around 15°C/59°F.

Easter Weekend (Good Friday)
Sanch procession - a procession along the stations of the cross, past altars in the streets and held at night by torch-light

Marriage of Wine & Art (mid June)
Wine, music performances, art exhibitions and plenty of activities for families and children

Festival of St John (June 23rd)
Bonfires lit according to old tradition on the Boramar beach with Fireworks, Catalan Sardane dances and herbal bouquets. Held at night under torch-light

Collioure Piano Festival (June 27-30th)
Featuring the Alain Mariano piano competition along with exclusive performances by international concert artists

Bastille Day (July 14th)
Parades, dances, theatre productions and other celebratory events

Collioure Theatre Festival (two weeks at end of July, beginning of August)
Major performances in the magnificent courtyard of the Chateau Royal and a variety of shows in the street and squares.

St Vincent's Festival (August 14th-18th)
Water games, dances, concerts and street music - spectacular fireworks display on the 16th

La Cour de Noel (runs from end of November for 10 days)
Craftsmen and storekeepers help to discover the magic of Christmas

New Years Eve (December 31st)
Dancing, champagne, oysters and midnight fireworks
